Private Lessons

The art and science of yoga has been passed down from teacher to student for centuries. Every technique is individual to the practitioner. This style of learning naturally lends itself to private lessons.

In each private lesson, Rebecca will tailor a series of poses, breathing exercises, and/or meditation techniques as appropriate to your individual goals - whether they be increased flexibility and strength, weight loss, or more peace of mind.

Private lessons can be taught either at Compass Yoga or at your home. You may purchase your lesson with the button below. E-mail compassyogastudio@gmail.com or call 615-431-9642 to schedule. For lessons at your location, a $25 travel fee will be added.

 

Please dress in comfortable clothing to allow ease of movement. Bring water and a yoga mat. If you do not have a yoga mat, I have several that can be borrowed.

Yoga for Every Body

This is a great way to learn the basics of yoga in an intimate non-competitive environment. In this workshop you will learn proper breathing techniques and the fundamentals of alignment through the sun salutations and a few other foundational poses. You will need your mat, towel, and water. You may also want to bring a journal to take notes. I encourage you to ask lots of questions! My aim is that you leave this workshop with the confidence to attend any yoga class.

Yoga & Wine

Join Compass Yoga for a 1 hour vinyasa class followed by a wine tasting with One Hope. If you've never heard of them, One Hope is an awesome brand that donates 15% of each bottle sold to a different organization. Whether you connect with saving mother Earth, supporting our troops, or solving childhood hunger, there's a wine for you!

Yoga 101

Come learn how to maximize your postures despite the differences in our body due to structural composition, muscle tightness, and body size. These things do not have to hold you back in your practice! The physical practice of yoga (asana) is more than just getting into poses; it starts with tuning into the body and feeling the pose.
